As faithful Christians, we should pray as the prophets of old and Joseph Smith prayed and pleaded for mercy for all members of the Churches of Jesus Christ, for the enemies of the Church, for the leaders of the country, for the nations of the earth that we may be healed; James 5:16 Pray for them to repent, as judgment will come upon them, often described as the wrath of God; Acts 3:19, Daniel 9:4-9, 1 John 1:9. May we repent and pray for everyone to repent, be quick to call upon the Lord and consistently. There is only one True Living God who saved us from our sins and promised us in mercy to resurrect us; Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 1 Kings 18:25-39 is a good example of God's demonstration that he lives. #pray #repent #JesusChrist

The Lord gave His authority. The Priesthood is borrowed from the Lord Jesus to perform ordinances for the Living and the dead. Everyone, including sisters, should pray to heal others by faith whilst they don't hold the priesthood (apart from those who received it from fake priests in long fancy robes for shows). Priesthood and service goes hand-in-hand, we are sanctified through service and teaching (preaching) we build the kingdom of God and are made whole. The Lord Jesus Christ said to 'open your mouths in proclaiming my gospel, the things of the kingdom, expounding the mysteries thereof out of the scriptures, D&C 71. Yes, it comes with the challenges of being rejected and demonic spirits retaliating and ranting. It's not the person who is hating the words of God but the demonic spirit getting them to 'demons-trate' or 'demons-trait' or demonic traits: bad behaviour. When we make and keep covenants with God, we can have confidence that is born of the Spirit because of Jesus Christ's victory over death and His promise of the Holy Spirit to us.
